Step one

Choose your product or products by clicking the “Add to cart” button found under or just next to the product image. Can’t seem to find the right product? No problem! Give us a call on 0861 000 370 and one of our expert outdoorsman (some call salesman) will help you find what you were looking for.

Step two

Once you've clicked "Add to cart" you'll be taken to the "Cart contents" page. Here you can view the contents of your cart and decide what you'd like to do next. To remove a product simply click on the cross (X) button located next the items name, alternatively click "Clear cart" to remove all items. Should you wish to continue shopping for more gear you can click "Continue shopping". If you're happy with the contents of your cart and ready to place your order, click the orange "Checkout" button located in the bottom right of the block.

Step three

Next you'll see the options to login ("Authentication") or alternatively fill in your "Customer information". If you have a user account with Mammoth Outdoor you may login now and all your details will be entered for you. If you don't have a user account but would like to create one now, simply click on the "Register" button under the "Authentication" header in the right column. Once you have completed the registration process click "Checkout" located under the "Cart" header in the right column. Finally, if you would like to check out anonymously (that is not create an account) fill in your details in the right hand side of the page under "Customer information".

If its your first time buying with us you might be wondering why we need all that information. Your customer information will be used for labeling, shipping and payment purposes. The real advantage of creating a user account is that you only have to fill your details in once! If however you checkout anonymously you will have to enter in your details each time you make a purchase. Mammoth Outdoor has the utmost respect for your privacy and will never share, sell or distribute your information. All sensitive information sent over our server is guarded by hardened panga wielding Basutu tribesman (Thwate 62bit encryption) and is totally secure.

Step four

Next you’ll confirm your order details, choose your shipping method and select a payment method.

Your order information is displayed under the "Checkout" header. Should you wish to delete any items at this stage, click the "Delete" link to the right of the product name.

Three shipping options are available, 1.) To door, 2.) To counter and 3.) Own collection. For more information on these options and our shipping information in general please read our Shipping information page.

Once you've selected a shipping option from the drop down menu you can select a payment method. The three payment options available are 1.) Credit card 2.) Bank transfer and 3.) Collect and pay. For more information on these three options please read our Payment options page.

Once you're done tick the "Terms and Conditions" check box and click "Continue".

Step five

Finally you’ll be able to view a summary of all the information you've entered. Should you wish to change your payment method or shipping option you can do so under the "Payment method" and "Shipping method" headers.

Depending on which payment method you've selected you will see relevant payment details listed below under the "Payment details" header. For a credit card purchase you will enter your credit card details here and for bank transfer and collect and pay you'll see instructions for payment.

Click the “Place order” button to complete your transaction. Once your order has been processed you will be able to print out an invoice of your purchase. In addition we’ll also send you a copy via email. If you have any problem what so ever during the order process please don’t hesitate to give us a call during office hours or send us an email.

Once your order is placed you can view your order details by clicking on the "Orders" link which can be found in the "Cart" header in the right column. Simply click on the order ID to view the details. If you would like to contact us for any reason regarding your order you can either email us at sales@mammothoutdoor.co.za or alternatively scroll down to the "Communication" section of your order and write us a post. Simply click "Submit" to send and we'll get the message.
